Dan's Wheels is a technology platform that connects you with independent, third-party transportation providers. Dan's Wheels is not a carrier, does not own or operate vehicles, and does not itself provide transportation.
Dan's Wheels engages only licensed, permitted and insured transportation vendors. The transportation provider is solely responsible for the service and bears all liability arising from it — including the vehicle, the driver, safety, insurance, permits, and any loss, injury or damage. Dan's Wheels accepts no liability for the transportation and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any provider; our role is limited to connecting the parties and facilitating booking and payment.
Each ride you book generates a unique Ride Contract that is automatically populated with that ride's details — parties, route, date & time, vehicle, price, and the cancellation terms below. By signing this Master Service Agreement once, you agree that every future Ride Contract is governed by and incorporated into these terms, and no separate signature is required for each ride. Each Ride Contract is recorded and available to both parties.
The full ride price is charged to your card upon confirmation, via Stripe. On confirmation, Dan's Wheels pays the assigned provider immediately, so your booking is secured instantly.
Upon a client's confirmation, Dan's Wheels pays you your net payout immediately (the engine-set price less the 3.5% brokering & management fee), via Stripe, to your connected account. You authorize Dan's Wheels to deduct its fee from each payout.
Client cancellations incur a fee of 10% of the ride price. If you cancel more than one week before pickup, Dan's Wheels retains the full 10%. If you cancel within one week, the 10% is split between Dan's Wheels and the assigned provider. The remainder is refunded to your card.
Vendor cancellations of a confirmed job incur a fee of 10% of the ride price, charged to your card on file. You agree to keep a valid payment method on file at all times for this purpose. The client is refunded in full and the job is re-sourced.
You represent and warrant that you are properly licensed, permitted, registered and insured to provide the transportation services you accept, that your drivers and vehicles meet all legal requirements, and that you maintain commercial auto and liability insurance. You assume all liability for the services you provide and will indemnify and hold Dan's Wheels harmless from any claim arising from them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. They remain in effect until terminated by either party in writing. Dan's Wheels may update these terms on notice; continued use constitutes acceptance.
